A considerable amount of the garden’s harvest is donated to a local food pantry. Participation in the garden is open to all Mountain View residents, although there is a lengthy waiting list to receive a plot. Make sure to get your name on the list as soon as you move to Mountain View! Efforts are underway to convince the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission to create additional community gardens considering demand is so high.
